Kimberly Brook
After graduating from California State University of Northridge with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Kimberly started her career in behavioral therapy. She began by working in the home and public school settings as a behavior interventionist. After working in the special education field at Glendale Unified School district, she decided that teaching students with learning disabilities and special needs was her passion and returned to CSUN for their special education teaching credential program.
It was during this time that she discovered the field of educational therapy. Working one-on-one with students has always been Kimberly’s preferred method of interaction with students. She returned to CSUN and completed their Educational Therapy Masters of Arts Program . During this time, she worked with clients with special needs as a specialized tutor assisting them with their academic needs as well as test preparation for the ERB and ISEE exams.
Kimberly Brook is a Los Angeles native and has been assisting students in the field of education for the last 10 years. She brings a tireless, positive, and enthusiastic approach to all their learning challenges. Kimberly combines her educational therapy and special education training with her common sense approach in working with clients to affect greater progress and growth in facing academic difficulty.
Kimberly currently focuses on elementary and middle school students with various diagnosed and undiagnosed learning issues.
Additionally, she is a member of the Association of Educational Therapists at the professional level. She continues to educate herself through seminars, workshops, and trainings on a regular basis.
